I have seen these before. I was in Chicago. We seen two of them. I got a shot of the second, but haven't posted it and Chipka got a shot of the first one and did post. Until that day none of us have ever seen one. They are not common in the Midwest. This is a really great shot!

Wow! I'd never seen one of these before Chip showed it to me, and now here's another one. I LOVE the light on this, and the way he's sort of in a trench. It gives the shot some movement and interest (as if this critter needed any more interest!). Nice work!

Fantastic shot, I love that you used a lens to keep his surroundings blurred, he looks almost alien.
