Il lago di Massaciuccoli (in provincia di Lucca, vicino all'omonima frazione del comune di Massarosa) è un lago costiero della Toscana.Il lago e il comprensorio di fossi e canali è una tappa importante per tutti gli uccelli migratori in rotta verso i paesi caldi. La maggior parte dei canali sono stati ricavati artificialmente in varie epoche, anche durante il ventennio fascista, per bonificare dalla malaria le vicine campagne.Anche alcuni bacini secondari sono derivati della cavatura della sabbia silicea per la fabbricazione del vetro abbastanza presente nella zona. Attività ormai vietata da vari decenni. Dal lago veniva estratta anche torba utilizzata come combustibile per le fornaci di vecchie fabbriche ormai abbandonate dei comuni limitrofi.Sul lago si affaccia anche l'oasi protetta della LIPU. The first thing I notice is the muted tan colors. It seems the sky goes on forever - due to the flatness of the area. That sky is wonderful and makes for a warm, breezy look to the day.

Odie, come detto, l'abbronzatura è particuarly colpisce di questa foto. Si tratta di un contrappeso ideale per la grande quantità di blu. Bella composizione, dof, colori e riflessi. As Odie said, the tan is particuarly striking about this photo. This is an ideal counterbalance for the large amount of blue. Great composition, dof, colors and reflections.
