Description
Farms like this one can be found all over Arizona and New Mexico and in many other Western States where there is agriculture. They all seem to have one thing in common; they never get rid of anything. Whether it is personal transportation, work-related trucks, or farm equipment, nothing is thrown away. For every working piece of equipment there are several that are in various stages of repair or disrepair.
This farm is located in San Antonio, New Mexico along NM State Route 1. The green area behind the equipment is an irrigated field, and behind that, the dark strip of green, is riparian vegetation along the Rio Grande.
This picture was taken on 3 October 2009.

@psyosdida. If this place is within an incorporated area of a town there are probably some zoning ordinances. In addition each state has certain ordinances which are supposed to regulate hazardous waste etc. In addition there are some federal rules and regulations. Whether these are enforced, or enforcable, I am not sure. Usually, if there is any illegal activity of some kind or the other it is usually only caught when someone reports it, or complains. Most people that live around these farms have similar places and are used to the scenery.Its a lifestyle choice!!

I love the truck on the left, as it slowly sinks into the ground. Of course here it would be totally covered by morning glory and blackberry vines. You'd never see it! Great image, my friend. Nicely done!

Nice shot looks like most farms around New Zealand also, junk everywhere. Probably costs to much to get rid of it and if you have plenty of land well what the heck, just leave it where it dies till it rusts away.. lol.

Wonderful panorama!!! I don't think it's all junk. Some "rubbish" are spare parts. My father, for example, put off even the cut pieces of screws, and I put away "a lot of junk" because it may be useful in the future. In this homologated society many objects or tools are currently unavailable, so you have to make them by yourself!!!
