Description

Well folks, i have the sad duty to report the demise, at around 11.00 p.m last night of my trusty graphics card. Apparantly it recieved the command prompt to run in an infinite loop...this means the PC does not run in anything other than safe mode at 600x800 res....it has gone, it is no more, not even a trace of it in the directory or desktop, it is as if has never existed...goodbye trusted friend we have enjoyed so many adventures in gaming and the world of my art. We have produced so many renders that i have lost count of the hours we have spent together. I shed a tear, no more will we produce semi or naked women together (or men ), wonderful landscapes in terragen or mojoworld, or bryce for that matter. Goodbye my friend, goodbye. This means that until further notice, or until i can afford it i cant post anything...BOLLOCKS !! Sorry, just a bit pissed off here. I will still post comments and answer mail. I am so sorry to hear of your demise! It is a most unfortunate event and I completely condole in your issue. I hope that soon something with be resolved from it all. Good luck - and prayers are with you.

This is truly sad news. I lost a graphics card in my previous desktop...it exploded and took out the power supply connector which gave it life. I had to resort to an inferior product but fortunately I have upgraded since then.

Aww Ian.. Too bad.. Still, it's just a PC my friend.. Runtimes can be re-build.. For a moment I thought something else was the matter.. So forgive me I am glad it's 'just' your PC..

Sad news for sure! I hope that you can resolve this and post again. I am sorry. At least it is just the graphics card. You can replace that eventually. Good luck.

Man thats terrible news how will you live without it..lol never mind we can have the technology, we have the power to rebuild to faster, brighter, clear, than before, the 6000 $ computer graphic card unfortunately we don't have the $$$$$'s hope all sorts itself out soon my friend...

Sorry to hear of the tradgedy. If it is only your graphic card but to me it sounds more like your hard drive. A dead hard drive is catastrophic because everything is lost. A graphics card can be replaced. Also be sure it isn't just your monitor. Hope you solve your problem soon. You will have terrible withdrawl without your computer. You poor fella.
