Foto scattata in analogico in occasione di un raduno di Madonnari presso La Pieve di Camaiore ( LU ). Mi trovai davanti quest’uomo con lo sguardo un po’ strabico e mi colpi’ questa figura : la mia fedele Pentax KX non perse l’occasione.
Photo taken in analog at a rally Madonnari at La Pieve di Camaiore (LU). I came across this man with the look a little 'cross-eyed and impressed me' this figure: my Pentax KX faithful did not miss the opportunity.
Nella conversione con Photoshop ho voluto ricreare anche la grana tipica delle pellicole HP4 .
In the conversion with Photoshop, I wanted to recreate the texture typical of films HP4.
I madonnari sono artisti di strada, così chiamati dalle immagini, soprattutto sacre e principalmente Madonne, che sono soliti disegnare per strada.
Il termine è di probabile origine centro-italiana.
Il madonnaro è un artista ambulante nomade che si sposta da un paese all'altro in occasione di sagre e feste popolari. Esegue i suoi disegni con gesso, gessetti o altro materiale povero, su strade, marciapiedi, cemento, selciato di centri urbani e che trae il proprio sostentamento grazie alle offerte del pubblico quali oboli o elemosine.
I madonnari are street artists, so called from the images, especially sacred and mostly Madonnas, who are accustomed to draw on the road.
The term is probably central Italian origin.
The pavement artist is an artist itinerant nomad who moves from one country to another at festivals and folk festivals. Performs his drawings with chalk, crayons or other materially poor roads, sidewalks, concrete, paving towns, and that derive their livelihoods thanks to the offerings of the public who obols or alms.

Questa è una grande immagine! E 'incredibile quanto si esprime attraverso gli occhi dell'uomo. Con lui è una piccola croce 'gli occhi, l'espressione è di difficile lettura. Mi chiedo che cosa questa afflizione ha fatto alla sua vita. This is a great image! It's amazing how much is expressed through the eyes of man. With him being a little cross eyed, the expression is hard to read. I wonder what this affliction has done to his life.
