Description
October 6, 2009
Deep in the sounds of nature's quiet will,
Come the embracing songs of the wind, the rain and the daffodil,
I sometimes wonder why God looks to see beyond this infinite
wonder to my darkened reality.
In the deepened night with it's brilliant light,
The sounds are so deafening, my body weakens under the unfailing din.
I cannot breathe. No steps to take.
No thoughts to perceive.
Reason is lost when hope lies beneath the wind and the rain.
I wonder yet what have I done to deserve such pain,
And then, I wonder what have I done to not deserve all of this.
How far have I gone from where I once was with you my Sweet Lord!
Too Far! Too Far!
My heart cries out to You this solemn night
as I beg for Your forgiveness!
I pray that even the birds and trees will cry with me!
Lord, it is You I love alone!
It is You who holds my strength in Your hands.
Give me grace, to stand and not falter, to love and and not fail, and I pray to stay close to You and You alone, to remember
the wind, the rain and the daffodil and to hold precious the quiet grace as the birds sing!
