Description
Somewhere on the Inishowen Peninsular we (well I) decided we should drive over a mountain for the views rather than around it (we turned back shortly after this pic was taken as the road was really bad and a 307 wasnt the best car to do it in...). We were up in the clouds and suddenly i looked to my right and this huge thing popped out. So i tried to make it look the same as i saw it (vague outline but definitely there in its "grandeur".
Anywho - Enjoy!
Rich
(PS sorry for the run of monochrome - as you can see the weather didnt lend much to taking colour photos ;))

These are indeed awesome when you come upon them. I pass several on my way to go camping, I saw one in parts where the blades were still on the ground and they are just huge. This is a neat shot as the cloud does shroud it in mystery. : )

These are enormous close up (I have seen one of the blades on the ground). I like the effect the mist has - cool shot.

Shadows out of the mist perfectly captured.
