Yes, one had to pay the ferry man. Just saw a show on how the Greeks used to put coins either on the eyes of the dead person, in their mouth or on the lips. Seems if you got to the River Styx and didn't have a coin to pay Charon, you wandered on the river bank forever.

You did really fine work on this. Even though your posts are far between each one is a bit of a miracle. Beautiful job on the texture work, her skin is perfect with those blue tones. Great concept and well executed illustration of mythology.
