Description

Having fun with my converted camera. Although i do like the false colour IR look, it seems more natural to use it for monochromatic work. Another great benefit for me is that ordinary scenes and places that i would never normally photograph can become something more interesting and surreal in Infra Red. Sorry for the poor quality of the JPEG but this image would not compress below 550KB at a decent size and quality. Kind regards... Shaun.

I love how bright the vegetation gets (and how dark the sky is!) I've seen some night shots at the beach using the moon, and the seaweed on the rocks was really bright too! Now if you pointed the camera straight down in the lake, would the minnows show up brighter against the muddy lakebed?

this is a great shot I've always loved this IR effect, must get a filter and give it a try.
