Tink confronted the intruder. In no uncertain terms, she let the beastie know he was not welcome! The intruder, well aware of the concepts of glass and in/out of the house, merely stared. A few moments later, he sauntered away.

Sometimes housecats behave like tigers: they show the back of their ears to their opponement. This means they are very upset and they are waiting for any occasion to deliver their killing blow.

Love this photo. I have a possum that comes and visits every night for something to eat. My big, brave cat won't come in until she's gone. Possum comes into the house and eats the cat food or the nuts. She's eating out of my hand now and will let me pat her. I would love a raccoon, but I think they are very destructive and we don't have them here in Australia. LOL

What a stare-off this must have been! Very well done on capturing their antics! Cheers, Clive

Tell me, do you have your camera with you at all times? You have some amazing captures, of which this has to be the cutest I have seen so far. I have a cousin that had a raccoon when we were kids. They are so cute and adorable. Love their little bandit faces.
