This year Christ Church is celebrating its famous founder on the 500th anniversary of his accession to the throne in 1509. Henry has been described as 'the man who changed England forever' ! Taken 26 th september 2009 at Christ Church College Oxford UK

The atmosphere of the college is captured so well. As for Henry VIII he metamorphosed from golden youth, full of promise to tyrant! he is unmistakable from his portraits..is he easily recognised out of UK?
