Description
I first have to say to everyone that this photo was not taken by me, but by the young man who was actually driving this thing!
His name is Tom. He's my little brother.
I received the phone call real early this morning from him telling me things were ok, well, he was. Said he was traveling through Arkansas about mid-night last night, topped a hill and another 18 wheeler was sitting in the slow lane not moving at all. He could not get out of the way fast enough before he rear ended the other truck.
Now, get this....The driver of the other truck drove away and now they can't find him!!!!! Arkansas police are still looking, to no avail.
Probably over next day or so, I may be uploading a couple more shots(different angles he took), just to show how big and bad these trucks can be.
He made it out, only due to the adreniline that was pumping through his body-no one stopped to help him, and when the police showed up they asked him if the driver was ok and what hospital they took him to, to be told he was standing in front of them!
I'm fortunate to still have my little brother!!!!

Wow! Blessed are the few and he is one of them. Glad things all worked out, when the word gets out he was alright the other truck driver may well surface.

OMG!!! Your little brother is SO fortunate, Velvet!! It is amazing that he got out of that alive!! Yes, we never know what may happen...that is why my husband and I hug and kiss each other before he leaves for work, as he leaves before me. You just never know if that may be the last time you see each other.

for sure the trailer on the other rig was limping.it is amazing the damage that a big rig can cause. luckily back when I drove trucks on occasion, I never had a wreck.amazing your brother made it out alive
