The rarely seen successor to the Lancaster. Cool plane and render!

A fine work, my friend. I love old plane books, but gave away a couple of bags, some years ago, because I ran out of room, for more essential things. I should have scanned them in first, ans till had them to look at.. Ah well.. This is nice, though. You have a fine eye for this work. Thanks for sharing it. I sort of expected Buffalo1 to know what it was. Warm regards, from a dull, chilly Glasgow, Scotland-of-course, John.

Great picture, but had me flumoxed. Who on Earth were we bombing from Singapore in 1953??? Oh... the "Malayan Emergency." How the world has changed....

Ah but we never called Wars .. Wars... No! We called them emergencies.. A massive beast of a plane... Griffon engined Lancaster, upscaled in everything including defence... Cannons.. Are there any left? I'm not sure... Dot at Duxford or Hendon thats for sure.. Cosford? Superb again mate! Rob
