Ah, quand refleuriront les roses de septembre? (When shall September roses re-blossom? ) by Paul Paul Verlaine (L'espoir luit comme un brin de paille/ Hope Shines—As In A Stable A Wisp Of Straw) Autumn is here, and just before the autumn rains started, I succeeded in discovering these roses in a private garden. And Verlaine's last verse of his poem 'L'espoir luit' came to my mind. These roses are dedicated to all the French-speaking artists here in Rendo, and to all of you who love Verlaine, and roses ....
