When rollerblading came out some years ago, my kids wanted them. It looked interesting, I thought maybe I could do it? and I eventually bought myself a pair and learned how to Rollerblade. First, I did not know how to roller-skate and I took my falls with injuries learning. I was about 47 years old at that time. But I did it every day till I could do it without getting hurt. The average distance a day was about 33 miles. My longest trip was a little over 70 miles....talk about a bloody blister foot. I sure got in shape rollerblading then. Spent a lot of money on wheels and bearings. I think its one of the best ways to stay in shape. The only trouble we had was the rain where it would damage the bearings besides the slips and falls. Eventually, I took up bicycling. Now, its just reminiscing back..."The Good Ole Times"...lol Aloha
