Description
I captured this cutie at the Lion Park on the same day I photographed Jonty and his family!!! I THINK this is a Bushveld Pipit (Anthus caffer). We have so many native birds that look very much alike. It took me ages now to "study" my bird book... LOL...

I have no idea what this little guy is, but he looks like those Ninja Sparrows we have here in Chicago. Those birds are small and indestructable! And fun to watch. All they do is flutter around and argue, like little old men who have the same favorite park bench! Having said that, I must say that this is a stuning photograph. So clear! I love the warm colors and the bird's facial expression. So perfect!
