Description
Taken on the same day as my previous upload - Scaleber Force, but as you can see the heavy down pour in the morning in this area gave rise to a torrent of water from the small beck cascading over the edge at Hellgill Force. In fact there was probably too much water as we were unable to get into a good position to take the photos and we had to delicately balance on the edge of the bank on a very windy day (hence the tree movement)! A break in the clouds gave us some nice blue sky and as the Tornado Steam Train past by behind on the Settle to Carisle railway we snapped away.
A tricky fall to get down to, but well worth the effort even with the limited angle and the wind.
Sorry this is yet another waterfall, but I have set myself a task and decided to compile a book of waterfalls in around the Yorkshire area, big and small, so there could be a few more photos to come!
Thanks for viewing and your comments.
