'I hate this place', Navara thought to herself as she passed the priests in their simple robes. old lessons repeated in her head as she made her way down the path.
She could hear Old Jensua's voice whispering to her 'Eyes down Navara, look only at the path you tread. Arms crossed in blessing, one foot crossing the others. Do not fall.'
Thankfully this would be her last visit to the Temple of the Faith. She was leaving Sheow today. The man who bought her was from outland and she would go to serve him as all of her kind had served the humans who settled on her planet nearly a thousand years ago
