Description

This is a photo I took at the Block Party, of the Hotess's cat, 'Miss Tea' She is a very friendly but opinionated cat who will tell you how she wants things done. She also likes to play hide and seek with people. Here I caught her in the Japanese Maple. Thank you for all the wonderful comments and faves and I wish you all a great Thursday! Mike

I had a cat once who loved to sit outside with me during the day. Being a cat, she often sauntered over to the big tree in the yard to watch the bugs and birds that lived there. Often the blue jays objected to her close proximity to their nests and would begin driving on her causing her to bound up the tree looking for safety. Up in the top she'd go in fear, never realizing how far up she was going until she was in a spot that she knew was beyond help. And there she'd sit. She once sat for 6 hours up there with blue jays pecking her behind. I finally got her down by turning the hose on her. This is a great shot.
