Description

The Image I'm playing with black and white effects, so the image above is a recycle from a long time ago, and since the character was so dark, I wanted to do her, without blacking out her already dark features. Trying to keep her visual, the lines, contours, features of her face, even though it's in black and white. I've seen many very dark skinned persons disappear in black and white images, because they are so dark, they become almost silhouette(sp?) excuse that spelling if wrong. Great work in the black and white - you must be an expert in that field now - the skin tones of some are almost dark purple others milky coffee and black and white doesn't do so well in those cases - hope you are feeling better

Interesting endeavor...the eyes/face area is ok...but the texture on her hands seem to make her look old...and I would smooth out the right arm creases a bit...(hope I am not being too critical). And yeah, I am thinking about your offer, too.

She has a beautiful face with the most sweet expression! I do agree that the hands do look old but you have done a great job on bringing her out of the background,

I have to agree with the hands looking old / odd, but that's kool since this is an older image. I do like the way you bled the color out except for the eyes and lips, very neo-noir, Sin City-like. Have you posted the original? I would love to see a comparison. The character herself is a beauty, as usual. Keep doing your thang...

First of all this is a beautiful image Mercy and you did a great job on the lighting of her face especially to highlight it. I always enjoy your releases as they are so rare and what a wonderful way to start my day. I'm sure you'll find many wonderful artists here to help you out as so many do cover quality work on a regular basis. Finally I'm sorry to hear your not feeling well and hope you recover soon :)

http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1862629&user_id=455053&np&np check out that link... I recieved 1st place for the poser book cover challenge... I need some work and I use to work in printing, so I had to talk to customers to get their ideas - I enjoyed it... I haven't done any commission art this year. Last year, I painted a murral on a liquor store wall, I posted that in my gallery - just check out that link and look through my art... My favorite pieces are of a piece sign I manipulated from a photo and a continuation of an art cover that Def Leppard already had.... check me out and let me know - I'M INTERESTED! As for your picture, If it is a color photo you're turning into black and white, check your photo program for tones.... Turn her into a light blue or yellow (closest colors to white - after making her that color, then switch it to black and white... If she is too light, turn her red or orange or brown to get her to darken - little tricks in the printing world.
