Description
A view down from our balcony, there’s a pond, no more than 20 inches deep.
Usually ducks there, but today a cormorant, successful fishing, and surprise surprise! A big carp came to visit! I’ve counted six of them, had to wait a while before I could catch them together in one shot!
The Great Cormorant known as the Great Black Cormorant across the Northern Hemisphere, the Black Cormorant in Australia and the Black Shag further south in New Zealand, is a widespread member of the cormorant family of seabirds.
Hope you like it
Take care, have a wonderful day, and thanks for your support and kind comments you’ve gives me on my previous postings. It’s so inspiring! Also thanks to everyone who added my work as there favorite!s

Wonderful shot! Great divers although I think they would have a bit of a problem diving in 20 inches of water
