Description
"La vie en rose" - *the meeting*
=This image is a work of Koosie of *Koosievantutte*, Martin *Groegnitram* and ana *anaber*=
=I thought of this image as a homage to a courageous lady: Edith Piaff=
She always attracted me because of her life: a permanent challenge, filled with so many emotions, but also how she dealt with it all: the good and the bad...
...she used to say: the verb "to love", is the only word i know to conjugate till the end, so this image is also a homage to love:)) in all ways that it can be found and not only in the traditional" way that the word is usualy used, and of course!! to her powerful and wonderful voice!
And I called it *the meeting* Why?: Because this image is a meeting of Koosie "koosievantutte", Martin "Groengnitram" and ana "anaber": each one so far away from the other, only with a keyboard to join and it was as like with our neighbour next door:))) LOL:))
The the story is:
I started this image from a drawing of me with pencil, I mixed a photo of the Eiffel Tower and started to play with layers on and on. Doing so, I lost the characteristics of my drawing and I was not able to make it pink as i wished... and by chance, I talked with Koosie and Martin at different times...to exchange several views about drawings. And I told them about my image and the trash I was doing meanwhile and each one said to me: "Ana you may send it...perhaps if I put my hands on it i can do something. Well, I don´t promise anything, I'm not good at that! :))))"
Annnd... I sent it to them and they worked on it, each one in their place, one after the other...and they have done things that I never would be able to...HERE IS THE RESOULT:-)
I could call this a "collab" but this is much more than a traditional "collab"!! Nothing was prepared...only the wish to help make someone happy:)) with an image...LOL!!! Me, in this case...
=So, I want to thank you very much, Koosie and Martin! I´m very happy and very proud and very touched! And the most important is to know that "collab" is really, what happened here... working together was a real pleasure! Thank you so much for that.= ~~ana

It is stunning proving once again the "more the merrier" and "great minds think alike" and "two heads are better than one"... even though it was more than that. lol. Enough of the overused cliches...I LOVE the title and the image is perfect. Congrats to all the artists on your collaboration.

and how wonderfully it looks here in your place, ana! after i reveived the image from you i thought, this is so exciting and fun, i have to put my hands on this. at first glance i didnt know what to change or to add after you and koosie had already made such a wonderful image! only slight changes, quite very soft, not that much but it makes my part in this image and i'm glad i could contribute a little something to it. it was spontanous too! thanks for this delightful collab, ana and koosie, we have to do this again some day :)))

to me it is always scary to work on an image someone else did. when you do there is always the risk that you put your stamp on it. the reason i did in this case was 1. because i liked the original picture and the idea behind it appeaeled to me 2. ana just asked for some advice. when i started it was just to give a direction i thought might work well, but the, the image 'caught' and i did somewhat more. that is the great thing with digital drawing, you can easily experiment and if it does not work out, you can just bin it (provided you did not work on the original, of course :-). the 'little' things martin did made the picture come together. i am so happy to have done my little bit. thanks, ana and thanks, martin.

This is stunning and superb and I fully understand what you have said about it...how there are times when only a keyboard can serve as a kind of connection, artistic, personal, or otherwise...because for me, a keyboard is my only contact with friends, artistic collaborators, and my other half! The image itself is astonishingly beautiful and full of richness, passion, and a haunting quality that really touches deeply!
