Description
And this, ladies and gentleman, is the real reason I love Ramatshaba as much as I do. It's the fact that I know, when I look up at night, I will be faced with the most beautiful sight that I can imagine! The stars so clear and bright that you can pick out the individual colours with you naked eye.
Taken with a standard Canon 55mm lens.

I cannot believe you captured the stars so clearly with just a 55mm lens! It just shows that it was pitch dark with absolutely NO light polution! Well done Ray.. It reminds me of the stars in the Namib Desert in Namibia!!! :)

Stunning work, the likes of which would be welcome in the pages of Astronomy magazine. (from me, that's a compliment.) This is gorgeous work, and something I have yet to attempt. I want to make star-shots of my own, but alas, I don't have the right sort of camera, and I'm in a light-polluted city. Gorgeous work, and I'm glad I had the chance to see it!
