Description

I just felt like a fun upload on this Friday evening after a very challenging week at work! At the Lion Park they have this rather tame giraffe... I call him Gerry! They have built a platform approximately 3m high where you can climb onto to interact with Gerry at face level. You can also buy little bags with snacks for Gerry. (Pellets made from grass, sunflower oil and other healthy things) Here he is eating the pellets out of my eldest son's hand! He is so cute... My son wasn't quite at face level with Gerry as he himself is 2.1m tall. (almost 7ft) Thank you for your comments and favs on my upload of Kayla yesterday! Have a fun Friday! Hugs, Carin xx

What a great idea on the part of the Lion Park. I've always looked at giraffes in zoos and thought it must be lonely for them...way up there. Neat pic. Almost 7 feet??? Wow...basketball player?
