Fantastic POV and details. I am a weary traveler trying to find shelter before nightfall. I see a town in the distance and the Duke's castle on the hill. But what is this I see in the foreground? Could it be the ferry crossing? Is the ferry man still on duty?

Warmth. This is the initial impression that washed over me upon opening. Here is that "healing" tone which you have mastered before. Something there is within this quality of light which makes a weary soul feel that 'everything is going to work out alright.' This is a beautifully structured scene. & you know how much I adore my shadows. They are sculpted so craftily here. Our eyes are not distracted by any foreground detail which helps to draw our attention and desire across to the "promise" of the "other shore." Quite enchanting, Patty! Terry
