another re-do as a material experiment. Concept by AgentSmith in which he used this incredible texture from Maxwell (or some other high end 3rd party vendor), that I tried to get similar look with a standard Bryce texture. Not even close. But, tweaking around did improve the Bryce rust texture a bit. Torus modeled in C4D using MoGraph Module.

interesting. Not sure of the effect you're going for,but the DTE has more bells and whistles than you can shake a stick at...;) I tend to use World Cubic a lot, to tile textures for more detail. But, there's loads of 'em... great pic.
