Description

As always this image will fill your screen in full view. This is for Lori, Scifibabe, who turned me on to these beautiful Piccolo Dragons by Arki at RDNA. To my mind Lori is the Queen of the Dragon Ladies for she does the most gorgeous reptilian sets possible. Her Piccolo image that caught my attention was "Metal and Lace" After parting with Ishtar, Ninshubar goes to her dragon's roost and plucks her favorite boy from his perch. She has a mission for him. Ninshubar was trained by Isimud to be a messanger Dragon Lady. Nasim cannot speak but he understands and Ninshubar knows his thoughts. Nasim, my golden boy, be as your name, and fly like the wind to Grandfather Enki. Deliver him this parchment message. It tells him to expect Ishtar and myself in about five days time. This will give him a chance to make any preparations necessary. No, you can wait for us at Eridu, unless Grandfather needs you to return a message. Yes, we will bring Elfida with us. I know you do not like to be separated for long from your sister. And yes, I promise the three of us will go on a hunt while we are at Eridu. And do not forget that your mother is also there, so be a good boy and spend some time with her. Promise? Ok! That's my good boy! Now begone and fly fast. This is good. Now I must remember to bring my new bow to test against my old one. I am not sure that a lighter bow will suit me, but it will draw quicker. Those two young dragons are great hunters and will give me plenty of practice flushing game. Besides they need some wild exercise to keep up their fighting spirits. Previous in Ishtar series

I just love this little dragon messenger. He seems to take his job very seriously :-) Great you started this new series and it seems to be taking off. Sorry I am not here very often any more, but I try to take a look every once in a while anyway. Keep up the great work!

Nice posing in this Roxy. You have a way of making poses that look pretty natural, especially the hands. Very good lighting in this too. Well done.

Gotta love golden dragons and this one is just the perfect size. Wish my stuff was as consistent render to render as yours appears. Great render.

Oh, that Piccolo is so cute! I think I shall have to rush off and buy him. The posing and composition here are faultless, and the color scheme is nothing short of wonderful. You have really shown off these two characters at their best, bringing them to life and really giving them a sense of interaction. I would agree with Networthy's suggestions, but those are minor details in an overall brilliant picture.
