Description

Hi Everyone, here has got to be the coolest thing I ever came across on my walks this year. It is an oak stump that nature left a permanent tattoo on. I have to conclude that the leaves that left their impression on the stump top had to be there many seasons. There are no leaves on it now only a very cool design etched into the grain. I would love to go back and cut a couple inches off that and preserve it under a finish of some sort to hang on the wall. Thanks for looking and any comment you may leave.

A truly wonderful find! It would be hard to just leave it there, it does seem like it should be preserved. Nature is really getting artistic.
