Description

Rummaging around the folders for something to post when I came across this one. Now this is not something I would usually post but it went along with the story line of the last image all to well. Why wouldn’t this be something to post you might ask? Well, first off my son is much more photogenic then this picture portrays. Second would be the grape jelly on his mug from lunch… lol. This location is Drakes Bay; specifically we have hiked down the beach to the mouth of the estuary. During the months of April through mid summer the ladybugs are quite numerous along this coastline. In the valley we hover around triple digits during the summer, it is so nice to have the ocean just a couple hours away. Does my son want to swim in the surf or play in the sand? Absolutely not! When asked if he wants to go to the beach. The response is “ and catch ladybugs”? So here we are, on the beach covered in ladybugs and I do mean covered, there must have been 35-40 just on Drake. That's Ambria behind him releasing her group. Was disappointed at how much had to be cropped off to make RR’s requirements. Back to bed, having a hard time using my brain… the whole household has the flu. Thanks so much for your support on the previous image. :~)

Cute. Sorry about the flu. They look like ladybugs, which are so good to have in your yard to fend off all sorts of bad stuff. I just wonder why they're infesting the beach like that, and your son.

This is a homely portrait of your son and a handsome young man he is - I wish I had eye lashes like that! One summer, many years ago, England was infested with ladybirds just like this. The gutter, alongside the roads, were awash with them as though it were a red river running down the street. I don't mind them but that was too many!
