Description
Having been vanquished in battle an Amazon Princess flees north rather than face the humiliation of captivity or worse still marriage. Travelling hundreds of miles through desolate terrain she can no longer continue. With the shame of military defeat still keen on her mind she choses suicide. She opens her special casket and drinks poison. She exposes herself to the freezing gale to hasten her end.
