Great work. Another sub carried aircraft was the Aichi M6A1 Serian. It was designed to be a bomber to attack targets like the West Coast of the US and the Panama Canal. It never saw action and was unknown until after the war when the only remaining model was found. It is now in the Smithsonian. In another note the subs, the largest at the time, to carry the planes were sunk by the Americans as the Russians "wanted a look at them" (They 'took a look' at our B-29 and shortly the TU-4 appeared).
