Description

When the revelers entered the Faire they were directed to the main stage. Good Queen Bess arrived on a sedan chair and, with a Royal Proclamation, officially opened the Faire. She then joined in the festivities to the great delight of the Groundlings (poor peasants).

Well, she's not Glenda Jackson or Judy Dench, but she's not bad for all of that. Great image of her court and entertainment. Very interesting to see all the different expressions on their faces. Wonderful detail and capture of the fun!
