Description

After a heavy rain (Thanks to the War Chief) I drove to Everglade City, climbed the 100 foot tower and waited. As the sun headed under the western edge of my horizon, flocks of white ibis rose from the mangroves going back to their own space.

Stunning! Did you try cropping about half the bottom waterway off and feature more of the sky to give it and the birds center stage? This is really alive with that coppery glow. Amazing shot.

Wonderful! I love the mixtures of cool blues and the glowing oranges. The dark land makes a nice balance for the silhouettes of the birds. Stunning picture! Congrats on your "Maki it Rain" being picked for 'Last Week in Gallery 42'!!!

I enjoy reading your comments and fully appreciate how difficult it is to make a suggestion about someone's effort. Many thanks to each of you and especially to MrsLubner & Micturn for their courage to make a suggestion. Posting work is fun and educational. Thank you all.
