Description

This is so long overdue that I actually feel a bit ashamed! I promised to post it in March soon after Bruce and I returned! *blush* Unfortunately a lot of detail got lost in the resizing of the images and trying to push as many examples into one collage as I possibly could. They say that the Namibian lichen fields are some of the largest in the world. It is fascinating to walk around and see the lichen just growing on every little stone... Thank you for popping in and for your kind comments and favs on my "Life or Death" upload of yesterday! Stay well. Hugs Carin xx

LOL So funny what makes you think of a specific Renderosity friend. Taillights make me think of Andrea, although I took my own infrared taillight photos before I saw hers. These are a fascinating set, so different from ours. Very well done, Carin.

Stellar sequence of lichen photos in this lovely Victorian style collage, Carin! I would liken the lichen to a combination of alga and fungi.

WOW! Looks like I have to visit Namibia! Gorgeous collage; the images are so rich, and it must be astonishing to walk around a place with so much lichen growth. Superb colors. The whole collage is just incredibly rich! And now I want to go exploring, especially since I have yet see so many places!
