Description

This is it for the Tower of London. You are looking at the north side of the Tower of London. You can see the flag and turrets of the White Tower and the Crown Jewels building is behind the outer walls. And of course, more towers or in this case - bastions (I think?). There is a dry moat, a short fence and a very busy street between me and this wall. Scanned from a photo taken May 1995. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peak and for all your previous comments. Oh this is most impressive Dana! I never spent time at the Tower of London... just scooted passed it and snapped a couple of images in the run. After seeing your wonderful series, I can tear my hair out! Just amazing! :)

I used to hear tales of horror about the Tower of London and the prisoners that were locked up there for all of their days on earth. :-) This shot really shows the strength in the walls and design. Great view.
