Description

"You might be a king or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the Reaper!" Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey The Grim Reaper (c. 1991 -- MGM) ~~~~ That noble specter that looms over us all in time and takes its most precious price. No man may be immune from that chill touch up on his brow and even the most high must take his knee before a force that no mortal creation can stall the passage of. Okay, okay, a little grim, I will admit, but when you have someone like Thanatos peering over your shoulder while you type, you try and make it her job as sound as impressive as you can. Finally seeming to get in the mood for the season, Thane, ever so generously, agreed to pose for a little image based on her moniker...and Bob the Skeleton helped too. Her offering the image of the fatal scythe that will mow down even the most hearty of harvests with a single slice, and Bob, well, Bob's helping point out that time is finite and passing more swiftly with each second. ~~~~ To those who wonder where my Halloween photos are this year...be patient! I'm departing for Southern California on the 24th and Scott and I will get to work on our display this year...no, I PROMISE not to have "Halloween at Thanksgiving" (MIKEERSON!), but there are a few new additions to the display this year to show off. oh this is spooky... I'm seeing the Death card and you mention "Street sweeper"... If you don't hear from me, you'll know the grim finally had it with my commenting, but than again, who hasn't? I truely do miss your halloween spirit and photos Stacey... I hope you and Scott have the greatest of times this year... REQUEST... a picture of you and Scott's face's, dressed up on Halloween - hopefully ya do it, and hopefully I see it... I'm supose to be moving, waiting for the bank to stop it with the red tape stuff = lol... our closing was supose to be the 23rd, possibly before... today we found out it will be on the 29th.... that gives us 2 days to get out of here - AND - in Colorado, it is common for us to have snow at that time, plus, Halloween to me is always the coldest day of the year - the chill just gets to your bones. Hope you have lots of pictures to post - would love to see some colage work in a few uploads. - don't forget to snap some shots of tricker treaters this year.

Well done! When I first looked at it I thought death's mistress "Auntie Samantha wants you to join Death's Army of Darkness", as it reminded me of a Army recruiting poster from WWII.
