Description

Walking along Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, I looked between a couple of apartment buildings and had the most amazing view of the Hancock! At 100 stories, the John Hancock Center is the fourth tallest building in Chicago, and has the additional distinction of having been across the street from our hotel. Chip took the most astonishing photograph of this building ... if you missed Cloudscraper go take a look. Shoot -- even if you saw it before, it's worth another look!

The archirecture in Chicago is very inspiring...this is a perfect example. Like your dramatic framing! The sun is out here. Going out to see what the leaves have been doing.

Great convergence of lines. Was this the building that kept shedding its windows onto the street?

This makes my head spin. I can't fathom buildings this tall...I mean, it would take me almost as long to get to my office on the 90th floor as it does for me to drive from my house to my office here. Incredible.

Powerful structures and they'd better be with all those lives in the balance. You captured this very well.
