We finally got to lay our Son to rest on Monday morning, the service was beautiful, full military honors and so so many friends, more than we ever expected...and complete strangers as well, who had been in the military or had family in the military, all come to give their condolences, offer shoulders to cry on and offer phone numbers for someone to talk to day or night...
We love you Tyler, you are so very missed. We are so proud of you and the path you chose and the man you had become.
We will remember the good times, laugh over the bad and forever keep you in our hearts and minds eye....

He was raised with Love, Fought with Courage and Left with Honor. Your memorial was meant for one, but represents many. For those of us who have been and returned, 1,2, or 3 times, in wars and conflicts through our history, it's an honor to remember him with you.

I wanted to say my deepest sympathy for your lost...I cant imagine the pain you and your family must be going through. I do want to say thank you for raising up a fine son that didnt run from his responsibilites and gave it his all. Being a former Marine (never truly former) i hold each Marine lost ..as a lost brother in the Brotherhood, that many will never understand or comprehend unless they served.
