Description

This is third in the series of using images as orbit trap shapes. Many of you are probably familiar with Kleinian group double cusp images which are comprised of spheres from either the works of Jos Leys or myself. The Kleinian groups can also be represented as limit sets. The limit sets can be mapped onto a Riemann sphere. Riemann over Kansas uses an image as the trap shape where the image is Riemann sphere onto which is mapped the 2_19 double cusp. The dark colored parts of the image show the back of the transparent sphere. This work was created totally within Ultrafactal with no post processing.

Amazing! I didn't understand a word of what you said after Orbit Trap shapes, but I do love the image. Perhaps now that I have pretty much nothing but time, I can start to grasp the math. In the meantime, I will continue to love the art.
