Description

Having some fun with the Moon Series by rj001. They are 3DS files and I take them into Carrara and Export as OBJ taking them to Psoer. Going to poser direct and importing the 3DS files causes problems but this works :-) They only come with one mat zone, I increased it to about 75 for the Moon Rover (Top) out 30 for the Moon Bus (Bottom). Overall very cool vehicles. I just bought one of his Vehicle packs too. 33 vehicles for $10 so that is a very good deal considering each vehicle costs you about $0.31. They do take a bit of skill to get them in Poser but that is because poser can be a real pain on imports. I often spend hours correcting the sameimport problems on my own creations. If you are using Carrara they import 100% problem free and I suspect that hold true for naything but poser. The landscape is from our Walls Abound 2. The landscape part of the pack seems to be one of the most popular elements.

These look great! Would have loved to have toy version to play with when I was a kid. Now that I think back my GI Joe never made it to the moon (though he did get blown into orbit a few time - cherry bombs were still legal and made great landmines! The original action figure and jeep were amazingly tough. Can't tell you how many times both got blown up and yet just pop the pieces back together and weeeeeee off again he goes! The cox gas powered planes didn't fare quite as well against the land to air (roman candle) heavy guns! Did survive the bottle rocket attacks. I think our rockets could have used an improved guidance system, was kind of hard to hit the planes with those! :O)

The bottom vessel reminds me of the "Red Dwarf" ship from the BBC series. Super texturing and presentation!!!
