Description

An archaic name for a surgeon, said with a K at the start. Heavily augmented this chirugeon started life as an autistic child. Taken from his parents at an early age to be turned into a mindless servitor. His Savant syndrome once recognized resulted in his transfer to an imperial medicii facility. Although brilliant at his given task he is unable and uninterested in careing for himself. And would perish without human care.

Superbly creepy envisioning of a commonplace element of Emperial society. I always found it interesting that even the most seemingly benign planetary system within Emperial space makes flagrant use servitor cybernetics without any apparent moral issues. Humanity stripped of it's essence and turned into quasi-robotic machinery has always been one of the darkest elements of science fiction in my opinion. Your work on this image is a visualization of that ideal. Thanks for another great look into the Warhammer 40,000 setting.
