Description

One of a number of shots from last Saturday in the Lake District - Cumbria. This view is across Derwent Water looking towards the peak known as Cat bells and the sweeping vista to Maidem Moor. Although Cat Bells looks imposing it stands at a modest height 1480 feet and continuing along the shoulder the landscape rises to Maiden Moor standing at 1,890 ft high. Could life be any better

Stunning, just stunning. Wonderful colors and textures. The hills look like they're covered in velvet. The canoeist and reflections are great features. A masterpiece.
