There is a place in the Arizona desert that looks very similar to this. Not with the trees, mind you, but the rest is similar. I don't generally think of this landscape with I think about Hawaii. Very unusual and very lovely.

Hard to believe this is Hawaii--not the vista most people think about. I think I did see this spot..much of the Big Island is otherwordly. Beautiful!!
