My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Oh Hun - I saw this in the thread and loved in! In the larger format here I love it even more!! Wonderful array of candles and you did a fantastic job capturing it! Just stunning my friend! Test? Oh dear... lol...

Another fine composition from MooseRidge. Didn't most teahouses have paper walls in Japan? As beautiful as these candles are...there is something uncomfotable about open flames and paper walls:)

Oh no, where's my book, I have to study!! Even so, I can take a minute to rest and enjoy this gorgeous, peaceful shot. Now, back to the books, thank you very much!!

I do so love the dripped wax of candles. The colours are very complimentary. Must be a special place, MooseRidge! Have a great weekend, Clive

Ooh, I love tea houses. There's one in Prague called Šiva--you just pronounce it Shiva; it's named after the Hindu god) and it's full of wonderful candles like this. You can smoke shisha there, get awesomely good vegetarian food that never exactly fits what you see on the menu, and since the staff there, my friend Tomas included, don't speak much English, service tends to come with improvised sound effects. I mention all of this because it's full of candles, but I've never photographed them, despite photographing Tomas a lot. Oh well. This is a wonderful, cozy and relaxing shot. I can almost smell tea brewing! Great work.

The colours are great and I love the way the wax runs.

Nice candles...I've started making my own from my recycled candle wax...I've also have made a hags taper out of a mullen plant...take and drip wax all over the stock and then it's a torch...made in medieval times.
