Description
This is an image, like most I do, utilizing the 3 programs that I use most. Poser, Vue, and PSP. The background is an Irish landscape I created, Poser is M4 character, and PSP is just the depth of field and color correction. This vampire is named Granth and he's a character I created for a novelist whose working on a Irish vampire tale based around this character.

I will :) I've already read it and she does the character justice...because it was a character I came up with way before I started with illustrations and 3D images of him. I think it's neat that she's using him. I think it's being changed in the proof reading stages right now. Here's a bit from a recent blog she wrote updating about her book. " As I have informed ya'll and many of you already know my work in progress called The Moriarty Clan Legacy. I know, what a catchy title, huh? The book was finished three years ago but now I'm in the process of reworking, rewriting, and adding to make the book to what I think would be considered perfection. Three years ago I took a gander at a stack of typing paper and discovered an underlining potential to create an entirely new book that has nothing to do with the ultimate definition of deadly sexy vampires of horror-dom. From that point came the outcome of the Moriarty Clan Legacy which also has a little touch from (edited my name - dontbeafraid will do :P) whose hilarious and cool witted creation named Granth, which I was given permission to be placed into the pages of my book, is one of those characters that many readers will love and want more of. The book doesn't surround Granth but he's always in there in the most needed of scenarios. The book surrounds the title clan which consists of three siblings; eldest Carden, middle Moira, and the loved to be hated youngest Fadan. " The book pushes over 300 pages but it's amazing...hope you get to see it someday :) Thanks again, Stv

Fantastic work! A stunning character and outstanding lighting effects and postwork! It's always flattering when you have a gifted wordsmith take a character (or image) you create and breathe a whole new world of life into it. Well done and congrats on that! I will DEFINATELY be looking for more information on this book when it becomes available. Kudos!
