Like painting from memory..you can block in the color but can't quite grasp the detail. A fragile thing it is.

Sorry Julia, I love your work but I don't think this one does it for me, I'm not agianst "out of focus" but I think it works as a background where tou have a depth of field.

I’ve wanted to see Notre Dame of Paris ever since I was a child. And when I got to see it, I cried. Unfortunately, our memory cannot preserve all the details, and all we’re left with is a beautiful, colored but foggy image, as if seen by a person with shortsightedness… Like the blurry painting of a distant love… That’s what I wanted to express here. But I admit that, outside of this explanation, the image doesn’t have a great photographic value. It’s a risk I was willing to take. I uploaded the clear image. Fortunately, when our mind doesn’t remember all, the camera does. :) Ken, I thank you for seeing. Penters, I thank you for the sincerity and I truly appreciate your comment.

I think it's interesting. It all depends on what you want from the image. If you are after detail and clarity, this doesn't do the trick. But if you want a dreamy atmosphere which leaves the details to the imagination of the viewer, this could very well be it. The colors, and the light is there, only not the focus. Many scenes in movies start with a completely blurred vision, as if not to reveal too much in the beginning, and then lets focus increase slowly. I think this could be a great opening scene to something exciting. Well done!
