Description
Image was created for "Chess and Checkers: The Way to Mastership" TC-RTC round. Figures, cap and pen were modelled in Rhino. Chessboard is CSG. Image was rendered with MegaPOV - unofficial extension of POV-Ray. HDRI lightning was used. Photon mapping and focal blur were used to achieve more realistic look of the figures.

I've always been bad at chess - I don't think I'd ever learn the rules for this one. I do, however, like the glass figures!
