Description
I've been messing around with Photoshop today and it's all gotten a bit silly! I was lucky enough to go and see this when I was in Paris a few years back. Whilst I am an 'art heathen of sorts and definitely no expert', I've always liked the original which I had to discover was actually named "Arrangement in Grey and Black: The Artist's Mother" and not 'Whistler's Mother' as I had wrongly assumed! I've always owned Boxer's so thats why they were included. After I changed her expression etc to get her looking at the dogs, I hung the original painting on the wall behind her!
Oh well I hope you like it!

I like it!!! Very inventive. I don't get around to many photo manips...but mine usually go to silly soon after I get started. This looks very convincing:)

Who knew that it wasn't really 'Whistler's Mother'. Learn something new everyday at RR. Cool postwork and adding the original to the wall. Puppies are always cute. Dana

Clever and fun. I love it when art gets self-referential, as in the original painting hanging of the wall of the more lively rendition here. I admire the creativity. Well done! I also love the way boxers always look so serious; it's a strangely feline trait for dogs!
