LV426...wasnt that the alien planet that the jockey was found on in Alien 1 ? This shot reminds me of "Pitch Black" where those bird like creatures flew from the spires. I an see elements of your "fungal" world in this shot. Strong creation :-)

Like the Rocky towers and the dark mats, Great job. Pitch Black was a more Desert Planet with Termite looking Sand Spires, no? Definitely more of an Alien feel to me. Peace
