Description

When my kids were little, we often took them to the Circus. Now they are grown and I still have to take them. At least now they pay for their own seats! We had great seats and I mixed this image with some Photoshop flares.

It's a nice pic and the arm/trunk balances the shot but the elephant looks so sad. I was never much of a circus fan.

Circuses are cruelty toward animals. In order to get elephants to "perform," they torture them. Plain and simple. They chain them up and beat them with sticks until they do what their "masters" want. That may or not be OK with you, but at least inform your kids so they can make a decision based on facts. And by all means, don't believe me. But please do some research of your own. Maybe you didn't know this goes on, so it's just FYI. The cruelty will continue just as long as there is money in it for the heartless monsters who live this lie. Those poor, gentle animals suffer immensely for people's "amusement."
